AXA Deutschland bekommt neuen Vorstand für Sachversicherung

Dr. Marc Daniel Zimmermann (41), currently Chief Financial Officer at insurance company AXA Deutschland, will take over as head of the Property Insurance department on November 1, 2023. This department includes all property and casualty insurance business with private, corporate, and industrial customers. He will succeed Dr. Nils Reich (43), who will become Chief Executive Officer of AXA Global Health at the AXA Group on November 1, 2023. Zimmermann has been a member of the board of AXA Deutschland since October 2019. He joined AXA in 2011 as an assistant in the finance department and was responsible for cost control from 2013 to 2016 and overall controlling from 2016 to 2019. From late 2021 to September 2022, he also temporarily led the Life Insurance department. Until a successor is found for the CFO position, Zimmermann will also oversee the Finance department in addition to the Property Insurance department. The change is subject to approval by the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin).
